The ASP GM program centralizes NIL as a standalone vertical within athletics departments. The program’s approach to facilitating deals is customized for each school’s preferred approach and maintains alignment with applicable rules. ASP GM team members work full-time in-house with partner schools to prioritize athlete NIL maximization + collaborate with institutional partners and university supporters to identify brand prospects and enhance existing multimedia rights partnerships.

  • Brittney Whiteside

    VP, Collegiate Partnerships

    As Vice President, Collegiate Partnerships, Brittney oversees the on-campus GM program while also developing and delivering innovative opportunities for continued engagement with Altius school partners. Additionally, she focuses on programs serving the needs of the broad and diverse scope of athletics programs navigating the collegiate landscape.

    Brittney comes to Altius after serving as Deputy Athletics Director/SWA at the University of Virginia where she was a member of the department’s executive leadership team overseeing external operations, strategic advancement, Title IX, gender equity, and served as sport administrator for four of the Cavaliers’ programs. Prior to UVA, she served as Senior Associate Athletics Director/SWA at Appalachian State University, Director of External Engagement at the University of Missouri, and Special Assistant to the Athletics Director at her alma mater Wright State University. She was a Division I women’s basketball student-athlete that went on to play professionally in Germany. Brittney also currently serves on the Wright State University Board of Trustees.

  • Greg Harrell

    Cincinnati Bearcats - General Manager

    As NIL General Manager at Cincinnati, Greg oversees overall NIL strategy, ongoing engagement, and NIL support for all university stakeholders. Additionally, he will provide education and support regarding athlete-centered NIL deals along with marketing, personal branding, and content creation strategies to support those opportunities.

    Greg comes to Altius after serving as director, partner success in the Office of Innovation at the University of Cincinnati. In that role, he managed incoming partnership opportunities and developing relationships with local business and technology leaders. Prior to that, Harrell contributed nearly six years as senior director of ticket sales and service with FC Cincinnati of Major League Soccer. A member of the UC Sport Administration Advisory Board, Harrell also served in group ticket sales, revenue generation, and job development positions at the University of Cincinnati.

  • Katie Darby

    LSU Tigers - NIL Athlete Marketing Manager

    As NIL Athlete Marketing Manager for Altius Sports Partners, Katie is responsible for external stakeholder education and supporting athletes with NIL opportunities at Louisiana State University.  

    She is a former student intern for LSU Sports Properties where she worked closely with both the sales and client services teams. In this role, Katie applied her skills to the sales cycle to assist in developing corporate partnerships for LSU Athletics. She also spent time working as a guest services representative for LSU Athletics and a partner services intern and promotions crew member for the Frisco RoughRiders.

  • Madison Dunker

    Marquette Golden Eagles - General Manager

    As NIL General Manager at Marquette University, Madison will lead Marquette’s efforts to support athletes, coaches, and staff to maximize their NIL opportunities. She will oversee the program’s day-to-day operations and lead the implementation of athlete-focused NIL education on marketing, personal branding, and content creation strategies.

    Prior to joining ASP, Madison has most recently served as the Assistant Director of Marquette Mentors, a program designed to pair students one-on-one with mentors to help them with the transition out of Marquette. Before rejoining her alma mater, Madison served as the Coordinator for Illini Way Student-Athlete Development at the University of Illinois. While at Illinois, she developed an NIL educational curriculum leveraging alumni and campus resources with a focus on Brand and Strategy Development, Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Financial Literacy while managing strategic partnerships. She also served as an adjunct Professor teaching a class in Sports Public Relations. Madison earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from Marquette while a member of the Women’s Soccer team and went on to earn her Master of Arts in Sports Administration from Ball State University.

  • Brad Bauer

    Northwestern Wildcats - General Manager

    As NIL General Manager at Northwestern, Brad oversees overall NIL strategy, education, and awareness of NIL opportunities for Wildcat athletes. Brad comes to Altius after serving as manager of business development at Northwestern Sports Properties, the multimedia rights holder for the university’s athletics department. In that role, he connected brands with Wildcat Athletics and established integrated marketing programs to maximize opportunities for students, alumni, and supporters.

    Prior to his arrival at Northwestern, he was manager of corporate partnerships for the Windy City Bulls, the NBA G League team of the Chicago Bulls, where he engineered partnership programs for local businesses while collaborating with the Bulls to create assets for NBA partners. He also served in sales positions with the Chicago Fire of MLS and the Milwaukee Bucks.

  • Kayla Miller

    Notre Dame Fighting Irish - NILI Athlete Marketing Manager

    As NILI Athlete Marketing Manager, Kayla will deliver innovative and engaging Name, Image, Likeness, and Ideas education to student-athletes to enhance their NILI market value, educate local, regional, and national businesses who are not currently university partners on opportunities to partner with Notre Dame student-athletes for NILI and professional development, and connect employers and student-athletes to support NILI opportunities.

    Kayla joins Altius from On Location Experiences where she led the virtual experiences division and collaborated with the business-to-business team on creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for exclusive guests. Prior to that, Kayla worked at Anthony Travel, the leading collegiate travel partner, helping to curate, develop, and execute foreign tours. A former Division I women’s basketball student-athlete and captain at the University of Delaware, Kayla also had stints at her alma mater in both university development and as director of women’s basketball operations.  Kayla has a passion for making a difference in people’s lives, especially the lives of student-athletes.

  • Joe Shepard

    South Carolina Gamecocks - Partner Services Manager

    As Partner Services Manager for Altius Sports Partners, Joe is responsible for external stakeholder education and supporting athletes with NIL opportunities at the University of South Carolina.

    Joe comes to Altius Sports Partners with extensive experience in client services and sales in the greater Columbia area. He began his career in minor league baseball with the Savannah Sand Gnats as a ticketing manager in 2015, where he oversaw day-to-day operations, and served as the liaison between the team and season ticket holders. The Sand Gnats relocated to Columbia, South Carolina in 2016 and rebranded as the Fireflies. Joe went with the team and helped grow a fanbase to one of the stronger minor league markets in the country. In Columbia, Joe became the director of ticket operations and helped to capture season ticket holders in the emerging market. Working in Columbia for the last several years, Joe comes into the role with extensive knowledge and relationships in the Columbia market.

  • Lyndsey Lopes

    Southern California Trojans - General Manager

    As NIL General Manager at Southern California, Lyndsey oversees NIL programming and day-to-day operations that will help support athletes, coaches, and staff to maximize NIL opportunities. Additionally, she will lead the implementation of athlete-focused NIL education on marketing, personal branding, and content creation strategies.

    Lyndsey comes to Altius after serving as NIL coordinator at UCLA. In that role, she recruited more than 200 brands, businesses, donors, alumni, and fans to the school’s NIL marketplace. Prior to UCLA, she served as digital media associate at TOGETHXR. In this role, she directed and constructed docuseries and promotional content surrounding professional athletes, and produced and designed content distributed across all social media platforms. Other stops in her career include serving with the Black Alumni Association of USC, where she collaborated with various alumni and foundations to endorse culture and diversity at the university and managed social media accounts to promote community among black alumni. She is a former NCAA Division 1 National Champion track and field athlete from the University of Southern California.

  • Tessa Kwon

    GM Program & ASP Academy Coordinator

    As GM Program and ASP Academy Coordinator, Tessa provides organizational support to the ASP team and works directly with the GM program and ASP Academy.

    Tessa joins Altius from Arkansas State University where she served as the Director of Football Recruiting. Prior to A-State, she served as the football team’s on-campus recruiting coordinator in 2020 at Michigan State University. She spent the previous season in the same role at the University of Colorado. Prior to her time in Colorado, Tessa spent two years at her alma mater, Georgia Southern, in multiple capacities within the football department. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sports management from Georgia Southern University in 2017.

  • Tyler Urbach

    GM Program Associate

    As GM Program Associate, Tyler manages special projects for the GM program and provides organizational support for ASP’s on-campus personnel.

    Tyler joins Altius after working in the compliance department at the University of California, Irvine, where he focused on developing the school’s NIL protocol and policy during year one of NIL. Prior to that, Tyler worked in the legal department at Bang Energy, where he assisted the general counsel with many different types of cases ranging from trademark and copyright law to labor and employment law. Before entering law school, Tyler worked in operations for Beverly Hills Sports Council, a full-service baseball agency located in Santa Monica, California. Tyler graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in communications in 2018 and was also a member of the baseball team. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2021 with a JD and LLM in sports and entertainment law.
