Nicholas Clark joins Altius Sports Partners, bringing a wealth of experience from his roles at Georgia Tech, Tennessee State University, and the Sun Belt Conference. His extensive background includes managing high-level legal affairs and providing strategic direction to universities, focusing on creating sustainable systems that enhance the efficiency of athletic departments in external operations, revenue generation, and athlete engagement.
In 2020, Clark was appointed to the NCAA President’s Cabinet as the first-ever Executive Assistant to the NCAA Vice President of Legal Operations. Throughout his career, he has held several national leadership positions, including memberships on the NCAA Division I Council, NCAA Football Oversight Committee, and the NCAA Division I Transfer Working Group.
Earlier in his career, Clark spent two years in administration at Georgia Tech, where he oversaw the rebranding of the Georgia Tech Letterwinners Association. Most notably, the launch of the Everyday Champions Initiative, a student-athlete engagement campaign that secured over $58.3 million for facility construction, renovations, and scholarship endowments.
A former captain of the Coastal Carolina football team, Clark holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree and is currently completing his doctorate in educational leadership. He is also a recipient of the prestigious 2019 John McLendon Award from the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).
