Director of Operations
Marcus Hoffman brings a broad range of experience spanning the full business lifecycle, from early-stage ventures to mature enterprises and distressed situations. He began his career as a corporate transactional attorney, representing private equity sponsors and commercial banks in complex debt financing transactions. He also advised early-stage companies while working with venture capital firms.
In addition to his legal and investment experience, Marcus has operated on the company side, as both a founder and as a member of the business operations team for a growth-stage insurtech company. This combination of legal, financial, and operational perspective enables him to approach challenges with both strategic insight and practical execution.
As Director of Operations, Marcus oversees Altius’ internal operations, ensuring alignment across legal, finance, HR, IT, and client services initiatives. His cross-functional expertise enables the company to operate efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.
