Altius Sports Partners Adds Two New Executives

August 19, 2025 – Altius Sports Partners (Altius), a leading strategic advisor to collegiate athletics programs and blue-chip brands, has announced the addition of two executives to its team, naming Tyler Reichwein, most recently Vice President of Learfield Amplify, as Senior Vice President, ASP College, and John Durbin, most recently Chief Commercial Officer of FC Cincinnati, as Vice President, ASP College. Reichwein brings a strong college sports network and a record of delivering transformative results to college athletics departments, while Durbin is recognized as an innovative revenue strategist who has driven growth and success across some of the most prominent organizations in sports.

“Bringing Tyler and John to Altius is tremendous for our organization and a major win for the schools, athletes, and brands we serve,” said Andrew Donovan, President, ASP College at Altius Sports Partners. “I could not be more excited about what this means for us. Tyler has built strong partnerships in college athletics and delivered record-breaking revenues that have elevated programs nationwide. John has a proven ability to reimagine how organizations grow, generate new revenue, deepen fan connections, and set standards others strive to match. Having them with us makes Altius stronger, and it means our partners will benefit from two leaders who make everyone around them better.”

Reichwein brings more than 15 years of experience in college sports leadership. He has spent the past 14 years with Learfield, most recently as VP of its Amplify division, which works with more than 40 college athletic departments, professional teams, and related organizations on integrated revenue solutions across ticketing, development, premium sales, and seatback programs. In this role, he oversaw a nationwide staff of over 200 team members, delivering record results while advising universities on new revenue initiatives, data strategies, and overall revenue optimization. Reichwein also led Amplify’s business development efforts while spending time in Learfield’s University Partnership Group, securing agreements with high-profile athletic departments such as Alabama, Indiana, and Washington. Earlier in his career, he served as Learfield’s General Manager for the University of Tennessee and Georgia State, where he drove millions in new revenue, grew ticket sales to record levels, and earned recognition as one of Learfield’s top-performing leaders.

“Altius is leading the way in shaping the future of college sports, and I am thrilled to be part of that mission,” said Reichwein. “Over the past few years, I have enjoyed watching Altius grow from afar and as I learned more about them, their incredible vision for supporting athletic departments and student-athletes combined with an amazing team made it clear to me why Altius will continue to make a significant impact on our industry.”

For more than 20 years, Durbin has shaped organizations through innovative strategies, integrated revenue initiatives, and authentic fan engagement programs. Most recently, as Chief Commercial Officer for FC Cincinnati he led the club through record-breaking seasons, surpassing revenue goals, elevating fan engagement, and setting new performance standards on and off the field, including guiding the club’s launch strategy for MLS Season Pass, positioning Cincinnati among the league’s top markets despite its smaller size. In addition, Durbin serves on the advisory board for USL Eugene, supporting the launch of a new men’s soccer club. Durbin previously spent eight years with Pegula Sports & Entertainment, rising to Senior VP of Marketing & Business Strategy. There, he reshaped business operations for the Buffalo Bills and Sabres by developing organizational goals for each team, introduced the highest-grossing merchandise campaign in Bills history through a landmark partnership with Bills Mafia, and developed a multi-year roadmap that teed up Sabres ticket revenue for double digit growth.

“Joining Altius is an exciting opportunity to build on the work I’ve done in professional sports,” said Durbin. “The chance to collaborate with schools and brands at this level, alongside such a talented team, is really energizing. I’m eager to apply my experience to the college sports space to create new value and help our partners achieve new heights.”

Altius has evolved from a consultancy that guided programs through the early NIL era into the leading strategic partner for athletics departments and brands, supporting them on everything from NIL to integrated revenue strategy and operational efficiency. Backed by leaders including Chairman Oliver Luck, Dan Mannix of underdog & company, Senior Advisor Ron Raccuia, sports law consultant Gabe Feldman, and recent additions Bob Keyser and Brent Swartz, Altius brings unmatched expertise to every challenge. Reichwein and Durbin join this team as the latest veteran executives strengthening Altius’ impact across college sports.
